## General Information
The City of Ames Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for Youth Start Smart Soccer Instructors (Parent-Child Program).
Candidates interested in this opportunity can expect to start on April 1st and work Tuesday evenings, 5 PM – 7 PM at Emma McCarthy Lee Park, April through mid-May.
Youth Start Smart Soccer Instructors are directly accountable to the Recreation Manager and adjunctly accountable to the Recreation Superintendent and the Director of Parks and Recreation.
## Examples of Essential Job Functions
– Instruct youth on the basic fundamentals of soccer.
– Enforce all procedures and rules in place for all youth at all facilities/locations.
– Inspect environment to ensure the safety of the children.
– Teach good sportsmanship at all times.
