Job Title: QA Lab Technician
Job Description
+ Review finished products for quality defects
+ Perform all DON testing (mycotoxin testing)
+ Conduct appearance checks on products
+ Prepare samples (grinding) for additional testing such as ash, protein, moisture
+ Calibrate scales weekly
+ Conduct environmental monitoring swabbing (EMP)
+ Run ELISA testing methodology
+ Document results and lab notes in Excel
+ Work on additional small projects as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field
+ Previous industry experience in a quality or food science-related position preferred
Shift
Tuesday – Saturday 2-10 PM
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr.
