**Job Title: Maintenance Technician in Ames**
**Job Description**
You will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of equipment, including boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors. Additionally, you will monitor the functioning of general utilities, order and replace parts as needed, and communicate any operational changes to managers and other personnel. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining HVAC systems, assisting in the maintenance of fire prevention systems, documenting maintenance activities in systems such as CMMS, and aiding in new hire training and cross-training efforts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the preparation and implementation of the General Utilities preventative maintenance schedule.
+ Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment such as boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors.
+ Monitor the functioning of general utilities and replace parts as needed.
+ Communicate any operational changes to managers and other personnel.
+ Maintain HVAC systems and assist in the maintenance of fire prevention systems.
+ Document maintenance activities in systems such as CMMS.
+ Assist in new hire training and cross-training efforts.
