Job Title: Bakery Helper
Compensation: $15/hr
Location: Ames, IA
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive attitude and work environment
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and sanitary at all times
- Assist in preparing pastries following specific recipes and procedures
- Ensure all ingredients and materials are handled with care and stored properly
- Support the team in fulfilling orders and packaging finished products
- Follow food safety and health guidelines
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Honest, dependable, and trustworthy
- A commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn
- Results-driven with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Prior experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is a plus, but not required
- Must have reliable personal transportation as the work location is not accessible via public transportation
