Our client, a leader in the production industry, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of custom premixes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Associate
**Location:** Ames, IA
**Pay Range: $19.50/hour**
**Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Carry and handle 20-25kg bags as part of the production process.
+ Operate various machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Conduct inspections and reconciliation of batch labels for premixes.
+ Participate in the mixing, packaging, and blending of products.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
+ must be comfortable wearing a respirator as needed
**What’s Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
+ Ability to operate a forklift and other production equipment.
+ Strong communication skills to relay relevant production information.
+ Commitment to following safety protocols and quality standards.
