*_PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT_* Serves as the Energy intern under the direction of the Energy Sales Manager, trains and assists in the improvement of energy supply chain management and service quality control. * _ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_* * Visit System locations and customers building and maintaining professional relationships. * Coordinate communication with multi-site contacts, schedule field activities and carry out projects. * Develop and maintain database of propane bulk plants, retail sites, and refined fuel bulk tanks*.* * Survey site to obtain information including but not limited to: tank sizing, photo of tanks, site overhead layout photo, and geo reference through Google Earth. * Create logical travel plans to complete work flow and travel overnight independently. * _OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_* * Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. * Performs all other duties as assigned. * _REQUIREMENTS_* * Must be pursuing an agriculture related degree at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at time the internship begins. * Demonstrates ability to work independently. * Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. * Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed. * Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position. * _WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE_* * We value* relationships* and people first and foremost * We are a company that *is committed to being an innovation leader in the agriculture industry* * We emphasize *sustainability* practices and stewardship of our resources * We enjoy access to in-house *training* and *leadership development* opportunities * _WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT US_* The GROWMARK Internship Program has been in existence for 66 years.
