Specialized Recruiting Group has partnered with an Ames, IA area manufacturer currently hiring for a QA Specialist to join their team!

- Located near Ames, IA (onsite)
- Salary based on experience, $60K – $70K
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve batch records for product release, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Manage the batch record review process, addressing discrepancies and issues.
- Develop and update SOPs and quality documents to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Conduct audits of production processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Train staff on quality assurance, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for inspections and audits by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records and reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; quality certifications preferred.
- At least 2 years of quality assurance experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and related software.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of batch record review, GMP compliance, and SOP management.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience preferred but not required.
