Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CNA for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Assists with patient rooming processes including measures and documents height, weight, and vital sign readings, as directed. Room turnover and cleaning in a timely manner. Assists with supply stocking and monitoring. Performs receptionist duties, as required. Assist patients to and from the restroom. Assist patients and staff with wheelchair transfers. Be of assistance to the nurse. Restock room supplies. Assist with reordering medical supplies. Performing other duties, as assigned.
Education
+ High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
+ Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.
Certification/License
+ Completion of 75-hour basic Certified Nursing Assistant Program or Completion of Advanced Nurse Aide Program with certificate.
+ BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
+ Mandatory Reporter training or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment
Days: Monday – Friday.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Experience
+ Previous CNA experience preferred.
+ Medical terminology preferred.
+ Medical terminology completion of class within on year of employment.
