M.H. EBY, Inc. in Story City is looking for candidates in our service shop to perform a wide variety of daily tasks. From upfitting small to medium sized aluminum truck bodies on pickup trucks and truck chassis, to repairing trailer brakes, to completely rebuilding a wreck, no day is ever the same! Each task calls for a variety of skills such as aluminum MIG welding, the use of common hand tools, use of a forklift, and electrical wiring skills. Technicians must show special attention to detail to ensure the highest of quality goes into each job to meet company standards and customer requirements. Prior experience in relatable work is preferred but not a requirement, however candidates with a great attitude and a willingness to work are a must. Candidates of all backgrounds will be considered.
Job Requirements:
- High mechanical aptitude to safely and skillfully operate hand tools and other metal working equipment
- Able to accurately measure and perform basic math
- Ability to work safely both alone and with others
- Able to accurately work with and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to maintain a clean, safe, organized, and respectful environment
- Cross training in each area of the trailer service department as needed
-Full time Monday-Friday day shift hours.
-Minimum $23/hour Starting Hourly Wage
