**About the Role:**
Are you ready to make an impact by ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams? As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in monitoring quality metrics, achieving Quality System goals, and contributing to innovative solutions that improve our processes and products.
This on-site role is based in Ames, Iowa, where you’ll work hands-on with a passionate team and have direct access to Gemba, the heart of our operations.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ **Lead Change Requests** : Manage Agile business system processes, including ECOs, MCOs, and Deviations.
+ **Drive Product Improvement** : Analyze non-conformance trends (NCNs) and lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap and improve quality.
+ **Ensure Compliance** : Support internal audits, CAPA/SCAR management, and the training program for the Ames site.
+ **Collaborate Across Teams** : Partner with departments to tackle complex problems and develop solutions.
+ **Optimize Processes** : Support validation efforts for equipment and workflows, while enhancing business systems through testing and implementation.
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ A **Bachelor’s degree** (or higher) in a technical field (engineering/sciences).
+ Project management experience **Preferred** , especially with multiple projects. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Gage R&R studies, design of experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and statistical data analysis is a plus.
+ Proficiency in **advanced computer skills** , including Microsoft Office, statistical tools, and data visualization tools.
+ Strong knowledge of **Quality Management principles** in regulated industries (ISO, FDA).
+ Exceptional technical writing skills to create concise executive summaries, impactful leadership presentations, and clear communications.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
