Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a **Product Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) – Focus Gears Solutions** , a key position that combines product lifecycle management, market analysis, and new product development.

It’s essential that you have experience with gear pumps and motors, as this role is crucial for ensuring our portfolio meets customer needs and evolving market trends.

**Job Responsibilities**

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

+ Market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities in the Gear Solutions segment.

+ Contribution to the development of the product strategy and the definition of a clear roadmap aligned with market needs.

+ Support in defining positioning and pricing strategy for the Gear Solutions portfolio.

+ Management of the entire product lifecycle, from launch to discontinuation, to meet market requirements and business objectives.

+ Participation in the new product development process, from ideation to market launch, closely collaborating with R&D and other relevant departments.

+ Assistance in organizing and conducting the Product Board process for new products and product improvements.

+ Provision of support and training to the sales team and customers regarding the product portfolio and its benefits.

+ Definition of sales guidelines and promotional strategies for the products, including strategies for promotion or limited promotion.

**Background & Skills**

+ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Management Engineering, or equivalent, with preferable exposure to courses or subjects related to the hydraulics sector.

+ At least seven years of experience in similar roles, gained in international and moderately structured environments.

+ Knowledge of (gear pumps and motors systems) and understanding the importance of related components, promoting an integrated and collaborative approach.

+ Technical understanding of gear solutions and their applications in various markets, including steering and electric steering applications.

+ Proven experience in product lifecycle management and market analysis, with familiarity with key players and their trends and strategies.

+ Project management expertise and experience in product launch, ensuring efficient planning and execution aligned with market needs.

+ Skills in using data analysis tools to support informed and strategic decision-making.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of adapting to both internal and external contexts while valuing diverse perspectives.

+ Strong knowledge of English language (written & spoken)

Willingness to travel for business trips, less than 10% of the year, and to participate in temporary projects at international Danfoss locations, demonstrating flexibility and a global mindset, completing the profile.
