**Business Intelligence Analyst**
**Business Intelligence Analyst (On-Site, Huxley, Iowa.)**
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for driving prescriptive operations within Centralized Seed Packaging through impactful data visualizations and improved data accessibility. You will develop and deploy data solutions, collaborating with IT and data teams to deliver robust outcomes in a dynamic technical environment. This role is in Huxley, Iowa, and involves working closely with site, regional, and global teams to optimize pipeline processes and increase data visibility.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Develop key metrics and data visualizations to enable prescriptive operations and optimize pipeline processes;
+ Manage data preparation for database platform changes and provide support during these transitions;
+ Evaluate potential tools from IT, process, and safety perspectives, including ergonomic considerations;
+ Coordinate IT tool training, maintenance, and documentation;
+ Prepare data for reporting, meetings, presentations, and ad hoc requests;
+ Ensure compliance with data quality protocols and champion safety, quality, and trait compliance initiatives;
+ Implement a data QA/QC strategy, including staff training on procedures and accountabilities;
+ Create, support, and maintain data visualizations for various work groups;
+ Maintain internal data storage and communication methods, such as Google Cloud Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and shared drives.
**WHO YOU ARE:**
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, engineering, computer science, or a related field;
+ Must have valid driver’s license.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong data analysis skills utilizing tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire to create data visualizations and convey information concisely;
+ Proficiency in computer languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and version control tools such as Git;
+ Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS;
+ Working API consumption/development experience;
+ Working knowledge and technical aptitude of IT equipment, systems, and related devices, preferably in a research environment;
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks;
+ Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, concisely, and in an actionable manner;
+ Highly motivated, results-oriented, with the ability to work individually or as part of a team to achieve results;
+ Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary/multicultural research team;
+ Possess strong ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
