**Description**

Looking for skilled carpenters for various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Ames, IA. In this role, you will perform carpentry tasks with wood and metal framing tactics

– 2+ years of professional carpentry experience

– Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings

– Expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools

– Strong problem-solving and math skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

– Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures

– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials

– Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures/fixtures

– Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

– Framing and rough carpentry + trim and finish carpentry tasks

– Openness to doing different tasks on a job site (demolition work, earthwork and excavations, concrete placement and finishing, layout preparation, framework erection for structures, ceiling and wall installation, welding, signaling operators and other construction related tasks.)

– Ability to work in a team

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $25.00/hr.
