**Job Title: Carpentry Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled carpenters for various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Ames, IA. As a Carpentry Technician, you will construct, repair, and install wooden structures and fixtures using wood and metal framing techniques, hand tools, and power tools. You will read and interpret blueprints, measure and cut materials accurately, and ensure all your work meets quality and safety standards. Your strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team will be essential for success in this role.
**Responsibilities**
– 2+ years of professional carpentry experience
– Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
– Expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools
– Strong problem-solving and math skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $25.00/hr.
