_*PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT*_ Responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet of vehicles and ensuring accurate insurance, registration, DOT stickers and vehicle safety binders are properly installed. _ *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*_ Develops plans to ensure fleet compliance with federal, state, and local government laws and regulations. Ensures all required paperwork and documentation is in place for all company vehicles, facilities and offices to meet regulations required by the DOT, OSHA, Homeland Security and insurance provider. Verifies, maintains, and updates Certificates of Insurance from contractors. Manages terminal access for trucks and drivers to pull fuel from different terminals. Manages daily, monthly, annual and five-year vehicle inspection reports. Verifies all required reference materials are distributed for placement in company vehicles. Ensures vehicle safety binders are accurately created and placed in company vehicles. Titles and registers all new equipment and renews annual registrations. Manages the IFTA license and provides quarterly mileage reports to GROWMARK. Manages all overweight and oversize permits required by the DOT. Builds and maintains CDL driver files, ensuring up to date driver’s licenses and medical cards. _ *OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS*_ Enters vehicle unit numbers into the system and maintains fixed asset lists by location. Supports and contributes to company goals and objectives.. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. _ *REQUIREMENTS*_ Normally requires a minimum of an associate’s degree in fleet coordination, logistics or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of fleet coordination. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and have the ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
