Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in Boone, Iowa. In this role, you will be executing a range of HR tasks such as employee relations, training, compliance, recruitment, and HRIS management.
Responsibilities:
– Responding to employee inquiries and concerns, administering company policies, and assisting in conflict resolution.
– Conducting investigations into employee complaints.
– Assisting in the disciplinary process by providing recommendations on corrective actions.
– Collaborating with the Risk & Safety team on worker’s compensation activities.
– Coordinating and communicating employee medical leave.
– Assisting in the administration of programs and procedures to align the workforce with strategic company goals.
– Participating in the recruitment process, including interviewing and hiring.
– Assisting with the performance evaluation process and providing coaching as needed.
– Educating employees and answering questions about benefit and perk offerings.
– Maintaining employee data and utilizing HR software (HRIS).
– Building and maintaining positive relationships with support departments through ongoing communication.
– Supporting training programs aimed at employee development and compliance.
– Communicating policies, procedures, programs, and laws to management.
– Protecting the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Requirements – Proficient in Benefit Functions
– Strong Communication skills
– Knowledgeable in Compliance regulations and laws
– Proven ability in handling Employee Relations
– Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
– Understanding of Workers Compensation Law
– Experience in managing Workers Compensation claims
– Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration
– Expertise in HRIS – Human Resources Information Systems
