LOCATION:ANY FLEXO COE

SUMMARY:A Technical/Operations Position reporting to the Business Development Manager. Primary Responsibility is to organize the flow of Radius product information from Quoting to Order Planning and Production, maintaining existing product models and items as well as building models to accommodate new business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

+ Input to Radius all FG item numbers and estimates according to Workfront item builds and estimate builds.

+ Input to Radius all Trial item numbers and estimates based on Workfront trial item builds and estimate builds.

+ Maintain Workfront item builds and estimates builds by assigning tasks and reaching out to Departments when information is lacking. Reviewing all information that different departments have input to make sure everything matches up before pushing anything to Radius from Workfront.

+ Calling out variances on Workfront builds by creating “Issues” and assigning to necessary person(s) to clarify or correct the variance before proceeding.

+ Hold daily morning meeting on item build status with department managers or representatives to ensure things are moving along and to voice any concerns.

+ Daily review “Return Quarantine Log” and ensure anything dispositioned to return for rework has a rework version in the Master Estimate.

+ Daily review “Job Log” to see if any Sales Orders are missing a Master Estimate. If missing, attaching a Master Estimate or entering a Estimate Build in Workfront to get specifications needed to create a Master Estimate.

+ Create structure codes for new product specs and/or trial product specs.

+ Monitor DC Projects that are assigned to Flexo and carry out any requirements assigned.

+ Monitor Service Desk emails for issues in Manufacturing. Work with appropriate departments to identify & fix issues.

+ Organize and input to Radius all product information (Master Estimates) grouped by customer, structure, and size for Radius ‘Go Live’. This is the compilation of finished goods items (including graphics), structure definitions, raw material items, qualified equipment and production sequences, quoting estimate, and bills of materials.

+ Maintain the Product Information (Master Estimates) for products after “Go Live”.

+ Maintain available production sequences based on successful qualifications or needs.

+ Work with Technical and operations at the Coe level to ensure all details within Radius are defined and input to allow efficient flow of customer demand to operations.

+ Build new product details to accommodate new or changing business. This compliments the trial and commercialization processes and will require working closely with technical and customer service.

+ Collaborate with technical resources on trial activity such as material qualifications, size changes, eyemark trials.

+ Collaborate with Operations to support effective cost management of materials and processes in support of profitability expectations.

+ Interacting with Management, Marketing, Sales, and Suppliers

+ Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid APC’s efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.

+ Attend and participate in all company mandated meetings.

+ Business travel may be required.

+ Other Duties as Assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
