Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
+ Receive, label, and safely store samples to be tested.
+ Organize and appropriately store samples.
+ Record tests and analyses and report results.
+ Clean and maintain lab equipment and space.
+ Maintain equipment records and daily work logs.
+ Learn and retain procedures for start-up, operating, and stopping laboratory equipment.
+ Perform continuous machine preventive maintenance in accordance with procedures.
+ Conduct daily sample taking and analysis in accordance with procedures.
+ Take initiative during waiting times, such as during the drying process.
+ Adhere to regulatory standards including HACCP, FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
+ Engage in quality control and quality assurance activities.
+ Handle all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in the Life Sciences
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr.
