JOB FUNCTION:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential in helping us maintain a well-maintained and efficient environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Complete general preventative maintenance and repairs
– Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
– Complete scheduled tasks and respond to maintenance calls
– Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
– Must be at least 18 years old or older
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Vocational training or relevant certifications in construction technology is helpful but not required
– General electrical, plumbing, and building systems knowledge
– Trade School or work experience in a mechanical field desired
– PLC and VFD knowledge preferred
– Ability to read and interpret work orders
– General computer skills (diagnostic and administrative)
– High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
– Basic math skills are required
– Uses good judgement to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
– Must be able to lift items of up to 75 pounds
– Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently
