**Job Title: Manufacturing Production Technician**

**Job Description**

As a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will operate a variety of electric and pneumatic power tools, including circular saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, riveting guns, sanders, cut-off grinders, punches, air hammers, and rivet clinchers. You will also weld aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel, and operate equipment such as press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, hydraulic hoists, and overhead cranes. This role requires physical activity, including crouching, bending, reaching, and walking.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate electric and pneumatic power tools

+ Weld aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel

+ Operate press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, hydraulic hoists, and overhead cranes

+ Perform tasks that involve crouching, bending, reaching, and walking

+ Read and interpret tape measures

**Skills Needed**

+ Proficiency with power tools and pneumatic tools

+ Mig welding experience

+ Mechanical repair skills

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide factors

+ Ability to read a tape measure

+ Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Story City, Iowa.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.50/hr.
