**Job Title: Material Handler**

**Job Description**

Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility. Perform duties that may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products. Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times. Use a barcode scanner and warehouse management system.

**Responsibilities**

**Essential Skills**

+ 1 year of warehouse experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Capability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.

+ Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

+ Experience in material handling.

+ Proficient with RF scanner.

+ Skilled in order picking, and picking packing.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 6+ months experience using handheld scanner preferred but not required.

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Availability to work overtime when needed.

**Work Environment**

This position is located at the Bell location. You will be working in one section of the warehouse on two production lines. Teams consist of about 13 people per shift. There are two shifts: 1st and 2nd. The dress code includes close-toed shoes, jeans or sweatpants without holes, and a t-shirt, long sleeve, or sweatshirt. The employer provides eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection. The environment is temperature controlled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.75 – $19.25/hr.
