**POSITION SUMMARY:**

As an **Operator II** , you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, directly contributing to the production of high-quality products that support our global mission. You will be responsible for manufacturing products according to work orders or other build signals while adhering to defined work instructions. Your expertise in machine setup, equipment operation, and quality assurance will be critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

In this role, you will:

+ **Prepare Machines:** Set up and calibrate machines to initiate production cycles, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained for optimal operation.

+ **Monitor and Adjust:** Continuously oversee machine settings and make precise adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency, minimizing waste and downtime.

+ **Quality Assurance:** Utilize precision measuring tools to inspect parts, conduct regular tests, and verify that all products meet stringent quality standards. Your attention to detail will help prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction.

+ **Troubleshooting:** Quickly identify and resolve operational issues during production, ensuring that any disruptions are minimized and that production goals are met.

+ **Documentation:** Accurately record production data, including approved and defective units, and maintain detailed activity logs to ensure traceability and accountability.

+ **Safety Compliance:** Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

+ **Mechanical Proficiency:** Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude, enabling you to effectively operate and troubleshoot a variety of production equipment.

+ **Continuous Learning:** Embrace opportunities to learn and master new machine operations, setup procedures, and kitting processes, contributing to operational flexibility and efficiency.

+ **Communication:** Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and any issues are promptly addressed.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ **Education:** High School diploma or equivalent.

+ **Experience:** A minimum of twelve months of production experience is required, with at least twelve months of mechanical experience or equivalent strongly preferred.

**Skills:**

+ Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

+ Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.

+ Demonstrated mechanical ability or aptitude.

+ Problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize and address both routine and unusual production situations.

+ Ability to read and understand machine manuals, blueprints, and production schedules.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

**Work Environment:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, and workspace restrictions.

The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include eye, hearing, and respiratory protection, protective smocks, steel-toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields. The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

Work in powders department packaging pre weighted materials, follow all safety practices, follow standard operating procedures, quality control checks, and assigned training. Be able to record data for weight checks into Real SPC, follow Billo , scan materials. Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds. Correctly wear personal protective equipment.
