The Operator II is responsible for manufacturing quality products according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required.

This position is part of the Powder’s department located in Ames Iowa and will be on-site.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 5 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime might be required.

**In this role, a typical day will look like:**

+ Adhere to Company/ department code of conduct and safety procedures

+ Monitor and properly adjust machine settings and work as a team and/or independently

+ Conduct tests to check the operation of machines on a regular basis

+ Prepare machines to start a production cycle? performing calibration? cleaning and other activities

**Are you qualified?**

+ Six months of production experience required

+ Six months of mechanical experience or equivalent required

+ Machine Operation experience required.

+ Respirator fit test required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

Work in powders department packaging pre weighted materials, follow all safety practices, follow standard operating procedures, quality control checks, and assigned training. Be able to record data for weight checks into system, follow standard work , scan materials. Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds. Correctly wear personal protective equipment.
