Our client, a leading player in the production industry, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of custom premixes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Associate
**Location:** Ames, IA
**Pay Range:** $19.50/hour
Monday-Thursday 10 hour Days
**What’s the Job?**
+ Carry and manage 20-25kg bags as part of the production process.
+ Operate various machinery and equipment, including forklifts and hoists.
+ Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are met throughout the production cycle.
+ Participate in the handling, weighing, and mixing of raw materials for premixes.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
+ Ability to operate a forklift and other production equipment safely.
+ Strong communication skills to relay information effectively to team members.
+ Willingness to engage in ongoing training and adhere to safety and quality standards.
