Our Medical-Surgical Unit exemplifies these recognitions. The 30-bed MedSurg unit provides care to a diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, presenting a great opportunity to hone a wide range of core nursing skills. Our MedSurg team is known for its collaborative and supportive environment, with short patient stays contributing to a fast-paced, yet rewarding, workplace. Our MedSurg unit prides itself on utilizing Admission Discharge Transfer (ADT) RNs and the use of Virtual Nursing, ensuring comprehensive patient care. With strong leadership support and top decile patient experience scores, this unit promises a positive and engaging work environment.

Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education):
+ Licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing or have an active multi-state license approved by the Nurse Licensure Compact.
+ Achievement of Baccalaureate degree in Nursing within 6 years of hire.
