Description
McFarland clinic is currently accepting registered nurse applications for the spine surgery office in Ames
Responsibilities include: Assist spine surgeon and PA-C with practice. Duties include assisting with direct patient care in the clinic and operating room, pre and post op patient teaching, prior authorizations, placing referrals, scheduling patients for surgical procedures, imaging and clinic visits.
Education
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
+ Possession of State Registered Nurse license.
+ Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
+ Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Days: Monday – Friday.
Hours:
Mon, Wed & Fri: 7:30 am – 4:00pm (possible out earlier depending on case load)
Tues & Thursday: 7:45 am – 4:00 pm
Experience
+ Previous operating room experience preferred, but not required
+ Previous clinic experience preferred, but not required
+ Previous spine specialty experience preferred, but not required
Starting Pay:
$27.00 / Hour
$4.00 surgical differential at completion of training
Possibility of additional pay with experience
Overtime paid at time and a half
