Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree.

– Administrative support experience that includes scheduling and coordinating events.

– Experience coordinating communication through newsletters, websites and social media.

– Experience supporting graduate students.

– Experience communicating information to targeted audiences.

– Experience that demonstrates organization and project management skills.

– Experience working with spreadsheets (i.e., Microsoft Excel).

Job Description:

Summary The Student Services Coordinator II supports the College of Veterinary Medicine by coordinating admissions processes, facilitating student success initiatives, and providing clerical and administrative assistance. This role involves collaboration with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive academic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Support

+ Evaluate and process applications, including reviewing transcripts and credentials.

+ Communicate admissions decisions and provide guidance to prospective students.

+ Manage general inquiries and provide data for institutional research.

+ Process international student admissions paperwork.

Student Success Support

+ Coordinate accommodations testing and assist faculty with preparation.

+ Advise on best practices for accommodations processes and manage payroll for tutors/mentors.

+ Support student communications and maintain records.

Administrative Support

+ Oversee the Excellence in Education Grants program and Veterinary Leadership Experience participation.

+ Support international programs, including student billing, immigration documentation, and communications.

+ Assist with purchasing and event coordination for program initiatives.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.Level Guidelines- Career-level position demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of related competencies- Works under direct to general supervision and may receive guidance on more complex assignments- Follows established procedures for work assignments, and completes assignments which are semi-routine and may be atypical in nature- Applies thorough knowledge to respond to inquiries and requests- Able to resolve most problems and issues and respond to requests without escalation- Provides guidance to students- May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team
