– Experience working with spreadsheets (i.e., Microsoft Excel).
Job Description:
Summary The Student Services Coordinator II supports the College of Veterinary Medicine by coordinating admissions processes, facilitating student success initiatives, and providing clerical and administrative assistance. This role involves collaboration with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive academic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions Support
+ Evaluate and process applications, including reviewing transcripts and credentials.
+ Communicate admissions decisions and provide guidance to prospective students.
+ Manage general inquiries and provide data for institutional research.
+ Process international student admissions paperwork.
Student Success Support
+ Coordinate accommodations testing and assist faculty with preparation.
+ Advise on best practices for accommodations processes and manage payroll for tutors/mentors.
+ Support student communications and maintain records.
Administrative Support
+ Oversee the Excellence in Education Grants program and Veterinary Leadership Experience participation.
+ Support international programs, including student billing, immigration documentation, and communications.
+ Assist with purchasing and event coordination for program initiatives.
