## General Information
The City of Ames Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Tae Kwon Do (TKD) Youth Instructor.
Candidates interested in this opportunity can expect to work a varying schedule.
TKD Youth Instructors are directly accountable to the Public Wellness Manager and adjunctly accountable to the Parks and Recreation Superintendent and the Director of Parks and Recreation.
## Examples of Essential Job Functions
– Instruct youth on the basic fundamentals of the activity/sport.
– Enforce all procedures and rules in place for all youth at all facilities/locations.
– Inspect environment to ensure the safety of the children.
– Teach good sportsmanship at all times.

Age Requirement:
– Must be at least 17 years of age.
Experience:
– Previous experience is preferred.
