Summary This position is located within the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Midwest Area (MWA), at the National Animal Disease Center (NADC) in Ames, IA. In this position, you will supervise Utility Plant Maintenance and Repair employees within the National Animal Disease Center. Responsibilities Coordinates supply needs with warehouse and/or assures that material is ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Assists construction project managers and supervisors in developing preliminary work plans as necessary. Works with various specialized utility, electrical, and mechanical systems equipment. Identifies facility improvements and operational changes with potential for conserving utility consumption, reducing utility costs, or improving reliability of utility services.
